Quality & Security
Quality is managed throughout the workflow.
We qualify the people doing the work, align them to project requirements, monitor performance, and apply review and corrective processes appropriate to each program.
A final review cannot compensate for the wrong resource, unclear instructions, or a poorly aligned team.
Our quality process begins with resource selection and continues through onboarding, calibration, production, review, feedback, and performance management.
The exact controls vary by project because an AI evaluation workflow, life sciences translation, voice recording, and data annotation program do not require identical quality models.
1. Qualification
Resources can be evaluated based on:
- language and locale
- relevant experience
- domain background
- CV or professional history
- test translations
- qualification tasks
- client-specific testing
- prior project performance
2. Calibration
Before or during production, teams can be aligned using:
- project guidelines
- terminology
- reference materials
- examples
- test tasks
- reviewer feedback
- client feedback
- clarification of edge cases
3. Production quality
Depending on the workflow, production controls may include:
- independent linguistic review
- reviewer validation
- linguistic QA
- annotation validation
- transcript validation
- voice or pronunciation review
- terminology checks
- structured feedback
4. Performance management
Quality is also managed over time. Programs may use:
- client scorecards
- reviewer feedback
- quality results
- contributor performance monitoring
- coaching
- corrective actions
- recalibration
- resource replacement
Confidentiality & access
iVelopment works with client content and project information that may require controlled handling. Current practices include:
- NDAs and confidentiality agreements where required
- Google Workspace for business operations
- controlled access to client and production platforms
- project management tools for project handoff and coordination
- access limited according to operational need
Specific client systems and security requirements may add additional controls at the project level.
Working inside client platforms
Many multilingual and AI workflows are performed within systems selected or controlled by the client.
Access is provided only to the resources required for the work and handled according to the client's platform and project instructions.
Quality across different workflows
AI data & evaluation
Contributor qualification, guideline calibration, reviewer checks, scorecards, feedback, and performance monitoring.
Translation & localization
Linguist screening, test translations, terminology, independent review, linguistic QA, client feedback, and corrective action.
Speech & voice
Talent or speaker qualification, samples, recording instructions, linguistic validation, transcript review, pronunciation review, and retakes where required.
Managed teams
Qualification, onboarding, calibration, ongoing performance management, replacement, and scaling.
